May be stupid but have you tried cleaning the IAC? Sounds a little like my 5.9 when the IAC went bad, replaced it and it fired right up.

How about my favorite. When the cruise control goes batty. On mine, you have to depress the button four times to get the CC light to come on, it will not actually go into the cruise. Tried the alldata solution but no go.

Guys who made repair saying nothing is wrong, just front band is overtighten.
Is that sounds correct? I do not very trust them and 'd like to doublecheck everythig what they do or what they gonna do.
Any advisments are welcome.

Thank you!

ZeeJay,
This chart is awesome. Is there someplace online that has an entire chart of issues and possible causes? This would be excellent, as it could help avoid a few diagnostic charges at the shop.

Do you mean the "standard" manual for the Jeep, or the repair manual? Found a site that listed them as separate books.

I'll check it out when I get home. It the book that they had lying around in repair shops so it quite a bit more detail than other manuals say a Haynes

It's the Chrysler corp. service manual. There are tons of these diagnostic charts and everything you would need to know about anything

Sweet, thanks for those pics! Awesome. I'll have to try and track one down. Is yours what came with your Jeep, or did you get it second hand somewhere?

And those charts were just for one topic so you can imagine how many there are lol. The book is about 2 inches thick.

Good call. Hadn't thought of ebay. Found it on RockAuto for $40 plus S/H. Hopefully ebay has it cheaper.
Out of curiosity, (and only if you have the time and inclination) does it say anything about smelling exhaust through the vents/inside the cabin, or rough idle?
I'm kind of imposing, so it really is no big deal if you don't want to
