Accidental Discovery: ZJ no start (electrical short) video
I was looking at videos for the electrical short locator tools and in this one, the mechanic is diagnosing a no start condition on a '96 ZJ. He is using "old school" tools. He just so happens to find a variation of one of the known culprits, 02 sensor wire shorted to the exhaust. It's not down on the pipe though, it's against the manifold. Ho goes over some of the ASD relay circuit in the process of finding the short.
I have a short in my '97 Chev truck, not my ZJ.
