96 ZJ will not idle HELP PLEASE

Ok so I have a 96 zj with a 5.2. I drove it two days ago with no problems. I went to leave today and it will not idle on its own. I have to give it gas and stay on the gas for it to stay running. Ive never had any problems with it starting or idling before. Anyone help me out or point in the right directon??

Thanks alot in advance,
Cody

check to make sure your fuel supply isn't blocked anywhere.

clean it up anyways . test the TPS too .

could be a sign of something to come , perhaps a fuel pump , or something else . Test what you can now and try to find an issue before it leaves you stranded .

After cleaning up the IAC and throttle body you may try a tuneup to. Cap, rotor, plugs, wires

Also make sure that your battery and alternator are in good shape. If either of those components are bad the idling is affected. In particular, if you've disconnected the battery recently or if it was drained the Jeep needs to "re-learn" it's idle.
