94 ZJ power antenna

1994 Grand Cherokee Laredo. Power antenna is stuck, then got bent. Would it be easier to replace the antenna mast with another power antenna or convert it to a manual antenna? I have looked around online and can't seem to distinguish which replacement antenna will fit, as some reviews say they do fit and some don't. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Hands down, the easiest option is to replace the bent mast, assuming the motor is still working. In that case, remove the nut, remove the mast / gear cable, then install the replacement.

This reply shows the replacement. Replacement requires removal of the dash and the heater box / evaporator, unless the cabling is routed in a totally different path, possibly splicing the antenna wire.

Mine was replaced w/ the OEM Mopar part.

Yes, the Mopar 5600 7374 antenna is now discontinued. There might be a vendor w/ one remaining in-stock.

Most aftermarket power antenna assemblies can be made to fit and to look original. A fixed mast will also work.

As was stated previously, the hard part is access.
