94 tape deck help?

Hey y'all. So I've scoured the internet and I need help. I have a 94 zj with original tape deck in it. I'm trying to set the clock to 24hr. I've tried holding set while turning the ignition and nothing. Holding set while it's already on only brings me to 'set 1' and 'set 2'. My next issue is that somewhere along the line it also says to press a 'select' button that I simply don't have lol. I'll attach a photo of my radio so y'all see what I'm dealing with.

If it turns out that 24hr is only an option on CD decks then fine. I need help setting my radio presets too, if y'all would be so kind.

this may be correct.. i've never used that radio.

Get it on the station you want and depress the "Set" button. Display flashes "set", then depress the numbered button you want for the frequency you're listening to. Continue this until you have 1 thru 5 set.

Believe Zee is correct and that "Set" button is just for the radio stations and not setting the clock. Believe you can program in 10 stations by going to the 'set 1' (1-5) and set 2 (6-10).

Also think those radios/tape players only go by the 12 hour cycle and not the 24 hour cycle. Believe you just push the 'H' or 'M' recesses/holes with a ballpoint pen to change hour/minute.

Edit: I don't have that radio either. After reading your post/looking at the face again that 'Set' button may just change the sets from set 1 (1-5) to set 2 (6-10). The right side of that "Time/Prog" button may be pushed to set the stations by pushing/holding the 1-5 buttons after seeking your stations out. Or Zee could have been correct to begin with. Lol. And the left 'Time' may be pushed if you'd rather see what time it is rather than showing the station frequency itself.

I'm sure someone with that radio will come along and tell you exactly how it works.

If I press the 'set' button then I only get the options of 'set 1' and 'set 2.' I'll screw around with it more and see. Because going to the station and holding down '1' or which ever number only delayed the time it went to the already set station LOL

Yeah, you may want to push that 'prog' part of the button to see if then you can set the stations by holding the 1-5 keys down.

I always used to have my kids reset my Jeep radios.
