Wow I've been slacking in my Jeep forum reading lately. Sparrows thanks for throwing mine and the others links up to the dimple tank mod. I have been running mine like this for 2+ years now and not a single problem I did have to modify my pickup tube on my fuel pump (had to shorten it up) since I went to a in tank pump so beware of that. With the heating of the tank you got to take it extra slow that plastic is thick and can't be heated up too fast or you do it will burn a soft spot in it. I have enough room for a 4" stretch which I plan to do in the nearer future by cutting my frame mounts off and moving them back.
And as far as using waggy springs I love mine I used a combination of junk yard waggy springs and a main leaf from and xj. It works and flexes real good, in sua I dont get any axle wrap with the V8

Do you know if a firebird/camaro gas tank would bolt directly In? Or do you have to cut it up?

I've heard the camero tank mentioned a few times, but have yet to see one actually used. I'm curious also? Its like an urban legend

camaro tank

*15 gallons; 57 liters; 33 in. L x 23.38 in. W x 11.38 in. H;

Yj tank

*1987-1995Dimensions: 33 3/4 x 17 x 12

So apparently you could have 6inches more room running the camaro tank.

Ruined a perfectly good jeep.

Oh yeah that doesn't look like a hack job lol. Wonder which fuel pump he used and is there enough dimple in it guess I need to go stick my head under a few camero's in the junk yard.
