YJ has a flat, all the rubber is bad.

Long story short the YJ has a flat, the rubber is dry rotted all around. Guess this Jeep had been sitting longer than I thought. I need to get it up the street. New rubber is in the driveway. Can I throw the spare from my JK on it to get it to the shop or wonít it fit at all?

If it won't fit then it's not a very good spare

If you mean the tire & wheel from the JK.....YJ's have 5x4.5 WBP, while JK's have 5x5 WBP.

So no, the wheels won't fit.

Damn Iím tired of this ďSĒ. Itís always something. Was going to take off the bad spare and get the new rubber mounted, come back and swap out the flat and then take the rest to the shop. I canít even get the spare off the effing swing tire carrier. One there is a lug key which I donít have the adapter for. The other two lugs just freaking spin!!! Damn it!!!!

Weld a nut or beat a slightly smaller socket onto the lock lug and take it off. Impact sockets are best they are a little softer. For the ones spinning look at the back of the carrier and see if the whole stud is spinning or if its stripped
