At least it doesn't have garbage ethanol in it so the fuel won't go bad for a couple years. more gas stations are popping up and selling fuel without ethanol. That's an immediate 5 percent increase in horsepower and MPG.
It's time for a fuel revolution. Corn is for Fritos, not fuel.

I'm lucky - station five minutes from the house has 90 octane ethanol free on three pumps. With all the lawn service folks using it in their equipment its always fresh. I just topped up my generator and refilled the gas can this morning getting ready for Dorian. Any tropical storm or hurricane typically knocks out power for 4 - 10 days.

My wife found this while shopping the other day. It shows that her head is in the right place and she really understands priorities.

Trying to decide whether to hang it inside the shop or by the entrance door outside. Leaning towards outside.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

Cool. Have to show wifey this. My b-day is approaching. This would be better than clothes.

I ran across 1992 Motorweek YJ Renegade test.

Long time no talk. The Jeep(s) are doing well. I took the YJ to Havasu a couple weeks ago. It did great on the way out there. On the way back though, man. It started dying on me. Let it sit for a few and it would come back to life. I thought it was the ICM so I bought a replacement when I made it to Barstow. Drove it from Barstow to Victorville before it crapped out again. I changed the ICM on the side of the freeway and it didn't fix it. Let it sit again and it managed to make it home. Wouldn't start the next morning. Ended up being the fuel pump.

IDC how old it is. The damn thing has never left me stranded. Hahaha.

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

Happy to report got through Dorian with no damage and no power outage (for a change). Almost no damage around the whole neighborhood except for a friend around the corner had a limb knock down power lines behind his house which took out that whole block.

The news here, several days ago, the local weatherman said Dorian would turn before hitting Florida. No one else was predicting that at the time. This is a guy with a pretty simple job. Without looking at any data, no satellites, no low pressure, nothing... if he simply says it's gonna be hot & dry, he'll be right 98% of the time.

Although it screwed up a lot of Labor-Day weekends, at least people are mostly ok. I think hurricanes should be banned for the rest of the year.

I agree on banning them...we have been shut down for almost a week already.
