Changed my water pump. It was tight with the shock hoop brace and the fan shroud

What did you do to your YJ today?

[QUOTE=bruinjeeper;41262413]Funny revisiting.

Things added along the way:
SS SYE = check
Flat back = check
Rear USB and 12v inverter panel = check
Additional overhead switch panel = check
Dana 30 (ujoints, hubs, ball joints, rotors, brakes, tube seals) = check
Trail Gear rocker guards = on the way.

Hey @bruinjeeper ;, Do you mind posting a picture of your rear usb/12v panel. Looking to put in one in the rear as well.

@jebmoore

Terrible photo.

Was posted in this thread in early April. Simple switch 12 V and dual USB (3.0) with a built in voltmeter.

ugggg OME-SB57 bushing kit struggles...
(3) sets of bushings and only 1 sleeve. Obviously the sleeve goes in the frame mount but using stock shackles = a 1/2" bolt into a 5/8" id bushing.... .

Oil change, tire rotation, and a quick spin around the block.

The wheels were green when I started the weekend.... The 40's and the spool make things that I couldn't do before a walk in the park. I ran this weekend at 12 1/2 psi and definitely had too much air so things will get even better. The hydro assist project really needs to get done soon. I might have to get that last chromoly shaft ordered too. The radiator in the wife's Tahoe decided it no longer wanted to hold on to the coolant so I might have to get that fixed before I order more Jeep parts. The shaft broke cleanly so I can still drive it with 3wd.

OME missing steel bushings - discovery. (4) lower shock bushings are a good match for the missing ones.

The frame side bolt is larger than 1/2". Yes, you use the stock sleeves on the shackle side. You can use the stock sleeve for the rears as well.

Don't understand the issue.

The issue is for instance you are removing RC springs from your rig and find that the sleeves are fused in place on those suckers. Been there and done that. However, Napa sells the stock sleeves.

I think you said you took some out of shocks, Those probably are not long enough. Your bolts need to have some squish against the sleeves to stay torqued. Get the Napa sleeves.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

Yes, it's overkill, but I meant it's difficult to work with. It's much stiffer than automotive wire because the strands are a lot thicker.

Anyway, I got it all finished up today. Didn't have kids at work so I worked on the Jeep. Got a lot of my old wiring cleaned up a little bit as well. I'm mostly happy with the way the lights turned out. When it gets dark I'll post obligatory pictures.

Tell me about it. When I replaced my bushings, the kit didn't include all the bushings. It was missing the front frame-side bushings, so I had to order MORE bushings. I was HIGHLY annoyed.

Hahaha yeah. Taking a guy from out of state hunting for the next two nights. Let's hope we see some pigs. I haven't seen any in a while.

Looks pretty good with four lights. Much better than with two.

Brights only.

Exact same exposure settings, the camera isn't compensating for anything.

I'm actually pleased with these lights. They are very bright. My wife was walking over by the basketball hoop when I turned the LEDs on. She yelled at me.

Nice work.

So they are tied into your headlight controls?

Dont forget that wrench. My man left one socket in there and it wound up tearing through the radiator fins when he got on the road.
