Hope the answer is "For Sale"

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

No, it's not mine. Was just in the shop today. If you look closely you'll see why I was so curious about it.

A CJ6

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

I was looking at it going "what the heck is wrong with this CJ5?!?" until it finally dawned on me that it was too long. Then I looked it up. Army Ambulance. We've all seen them in movies, I had just never really thought about them being longer.

I bet it's fairly rare, since I've never seen one in real life before.

With the SOA conversion you should be primed for another run at YJOTM!

Just waiting on the wheels now.

Going to make a list tomorrow at the shop of anything else I need to order. Wheels and tires should be on here in about a week. Getting real close to the finish line!

Picked up a new piston and rod last night from the machine shop I use. He supplied my manifold gasket, bearings, and head gasket as well.

I don’t know which one it replaces yet but I should know tonight and hopefully nothing else reveals - and I’ll have it back running tomorrow afternoon.

EDIT autozone people have “never heard of it” when I asked for plastigage- but advance auto has it in stock.

I wheeled it pretty hard today. Most of the stuff I did I did by myself. I did end up meeting a couple friendly Jeepers at the park and we did a lot of trails together. I didn't get very many pictures. The kids and I were having way too much fun to stop for pictures. Pictures never do the trails justice anyway.

Only trail damage I encountered. I had to rock the Jeep back and forth between a ledge and a tree to get a straight line at the ledge. Inverted the shackle at some point in the process. Used the high-lift and got it fixed. Still no damage to the spring.

Tummy Tuck is an essential mod for rock crawling.

That ledge up there is the one I bumped my shackle on.

I'd like to note that these Maxxis Razrs are AMAZING on Texas slickrock. I hardly spun a tire all day. They gripped and gripped and got me up things that bigger Jeeps couldn't do after trying for 30 minutes. A JK Rubicon we wheeled with for a while snapped his front D44 trying to get up a ledge that I crawled up on my first attempt. I'm really happy with these tires.

My kids had a blast. We're doing it again later this week. My mom's TJ got done with paint, so my wife might come along and drive the TJ.

Got tired of seeing rusty hubs under new rims so I made them perty.

Cooked some lunch on it at the shooting range today. 400 rounds 5.56 another 250 rounds of 9mm later. Then, i found some mud and said what the heck!

....then i spent way too much at 4WP on it. Corbeau Moabs, harnesses and a G2 diff. cover for the turdy coming my way!

i should file a grievance with my condo complex - "i know underground car parks are dusty, but this is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!"
good day.

Drilled 26 holes in my nicely painted body for the TJ flares. Painted the holes to slow the rust process down.

It was 60, so I had to take it for another spin around the building.
