Getting a new windshield for inspection was an amazing upgrade. A revelation! So clear, and I didn't need my corrective lens prescription updated after all. It wasn't my eyes...

Yesterday - received the 8.8 Lube Locker.

Today - picked up the necessary oil and brake fluid, and two 3/8" hose barbs for the e-brake cable mod. Still waiting on the Dorman #03339 cable stops from Rock Auto.

I need to double check, but I think once the cable stops are here installation time will be a go.

EDIT: U-joints are the last thing left to get, or maybe I'll just run the ones that are in it and see how it goes with those. They only have about 5k on them.

I had to put in the transfer case skid plate in to move my parts jeep out of the back yard, yard jeep, before the city inspector comes and checks the pool installation. It's "not appropriate" per city code...

Ordered new timing set, water pump, hoses, belts, harmonic balancer to get The smurf running again. And I may be getting a 400lb part for my next phase of the build. ?

I ordered a nice switch panel, some electrical connectors, and a new horn. Planning on visiting the junkyard soon to find a good donor for a relay box, and getting that all set up, as well as replacing my dead horn.

These are awesome. I have them in the DD, very close sound to the BMW-3-series twins I kept from a favorite car for use in The Project. Price is right too

My fuel tank vent and filler hoses were deteriorated so I replaced those. It was a PITA, because the male tubes on the tank were butted up against a some body sheet metal.

Continuing the chrome deletes, I removed the front bumper and bedlinered the bumper, tow hooks and plastic Jeep cover. Since to PO bent the driver side of the bumper I also flattened it back out most of the way with a sledgehammer and 4x4 block of wood. It's not perfectly straight but it's better. I also bought new grade 8 hardware for them.

For the interior: My center console looked bad, so I also sprayed that, while I was spraying the bumper, and put a new lock since I didn't have the key. I also used some PlastiX on the gauge's clear plastic and removed some phantom speaker wires.
