TJ Tub on a YJ

Does any body know if you can't get ATJ tub on a YJ frame I found a TJ that they use the frame to build a rock crawler the tub is perfect no rust I can buy it for $100 just wondering how hard it would be to put that tub on my chassis

From what I remember from a few years back when needing a new tub is the body mounts will not line up. If your handy with fab work it can be done.

Should have gotten a tetanus shot with this jeep!

... don't forget all the VIN issues. I decided my tub is old and beat, but fine.

Thanks for all the info. I think I will stick with the little blue. I might buy it anyway just to have around.

Good idea, never know when you will find a heck of a good deal on a TJ that just needs a tub swap.

Should have gotten a tetanus shot with this jeep!

Garage
There was a Jeep for sale locally that was supposed to be a YJ, had a TJ interior. I'm assuming it was TJ tub but never really looked into it.

Buy the tub, sell it for more.
Buy yourself a nice YJ tub with all that extra money.
