SBC Ignition

I have been slowly working to put a carbed SBC 350 in my YJ. I know... carbed... yuck! I don't mind a carb, but it will get some type of fuel injection later with a Fast or MSD Atomic throttle bottle setup. Motor/Trans/Case and shifters are in. Now I'm plumbing transmission cooling lines, new fuels lines, and wiring. I would like to use all of the factory gauges and cluster. So far so good with gauges and speedo. Haven't messed with the Tach yet. I'm trying to get the starter wired up to my 90 YJ ignition. I am not sure how to wire everything up since this engine has an HEI distributor and the starter is different than my old 4cyl one. Does anyone that has done this before have pictures or a wiring diagram of matching the old with the new engine for starting and spark? Maybe the Tach too?

Until They All Come Home!

I haven't done a 350, but your stock tach line will come off the tach terminal on the HEI. The ignition itself only needs to trigger 12v, I'd assume the starter should be relatively the same.
