That's right, my grand cherokee had it and powered by the 4.0 it ripped. =)

woah, I was thinking of getting bigger tires because mine runs 2100 at 70mph... I was hoping to get it down to around 1600

That'd require tires 1.3125 times the diameter of the ones you've got... and they'll give you about 75% as much torque as you have now.

After reading this I'm so happy to have a manual trans. Mine revs 1400 rpm at 70mph on 33's. I was tempted to buy an auto Jeep but didn't because it wasn't a 4 speed. Automatics are great for crawling on rocks and mud holes so enjoy it anyway.
