Rough country 4" lift kit?

Im sure Im beating a dead horse here but does anyone have anything good to say about this lift? Im on a tight budget but i have to take off the 3" BL my heep has before it falls apart. I have some pretty saggy springs on it now that are stock. I dont get offroad much but I was wondering if this lift would make the ride even a little better than what I have now. Any help would go along way for me. Thanks for any responses I may get in advance.

I installed the R/C 4" lift on my YJ back in July. I haven't had any sag yet but I'm keeping an eye on them. I think my ride quality improved at least 100% with the lift. I ended up replacing a whole lot more than I thought that I would, rubber and steel brake lines, brakes, bushings, etc, etc, etc. I think it's well worth the money.

I DO DIRT.......FOR REAL!!!

Im sure I will be replaceing alot more than just the lift also. I planned on getting a bushing kit also. I was just wondering if my ride would improve. my body mounts are shot so I was going to replace those as well.I have just heard so many different stories about this lift and its making me nervous. thanks again.

I bought the RC 4" lift about 5 months ago and haven't noticed any sag or any disappointment. I'm lovin in for the price, perfect for the weekend warrior who doesn't get too serious off road.

my yj has a 3" lift, too and it has broken through in 6 places. bought the jeep this way, and the PO didn't bother to disclose this fact. oh well....... that is the first project when I get home from afghanistan.

rc lifts

Just my two cents but I put a 4" rc lift on last july and have driven it for about 2k miles, with no problems, NO SAG. As far as my ride quality it is 100 times better now. I would highly recomend the lift for its price and dont believe all the negative hype. Obviously there were problems with the previous springs, just read this forum and you will find lots of guys with bad experiances, but you will also find many like me who have had no problems. I would recomend that if you install the kit use stock height shackles, stay away from a shackle lift as this was not RC manufacture intention with the springs. Just to demonstrate how I have no sag, I use my rig to plow and even with the plow on the front no sag, so maybe im just lucky but I cant bad mouth them. I would HIGHLY recomend you buy direct from RC to avoid any possibilty of getting the old springs. Also I didnt know about the 10% discount for JF members and called them after I placed my order. Lets just say Ryan compensated me for my own error which he didnt have to do. So if youre on a budget and want a quality lift , go for it...

8 months and no problems, when I bought the lift I was very clear to them that I wanted the new springs and not the old one and that is exactly what I got!......I was a little worried during the initial break in period, it was rough, but once it settled in it was fine.

Great lift. Been on here for about a year now. Rides 100% better and flexes like crazy. Here is a pic of it flexed out on a 3 and a half foot tall rock we bought out of a rock quarry. Great lift with a great company behind it.

After that pic redneckyj, Im sold.. Did you have to remove the sway bars to get that kind of flex? Also is it safe to remove the track bars for DD duty? I do have children that ride in it also. Bada$$ jeeps for those who posted pics.

No sways or trackbars and I drive it 100 miles a day. I also have a 2 inch BL so I have a little more room to stuff them up in the fenders. Those are 35" tires there.
