Rear drive shaft broke the yoke on the rear end

Trying to see if anyone has an idea what would have cause the rear yoke to break. From what I can tell the C bolts that just broke. I haven't had an issues in the past with anything related to the drive shaft nor the rear end. I wasn't sure if it was an age related issue or something else. This is on a 1987 wrangler

Pics please.

Would help us diagnose.

If it's not supposed to move and does use duct tape.
If it's supposed to move and doesn't use WD40
