Rampage Frameless Soft Top Install Help

I ordered the Rampage frameless soft top for my new to me '93 YJ. It arrived yesterday and I tried to install it today. I got as far as trying to fit the door surrounds and couldn't figure out what they attach to. Attached below are the photos of the Jeep side and the door surrounds from the package. The package is clearly marked for a '92-'95 Wrangler but it requires the OEM soft top hardware. I have soft top hardware installed on the Jeep so is it not the OEM hardware? Is there something else I need to buy to make it work? Since this is my first Wrangler, I have no idea what OEM looks like. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You just need to purchase windshield uprights.

They go along the windshield sides.

Also need the slider track rails in your tub retainers

You might have pre 92 soft top hardware installed on that thing from the PO. The top corner at the A pillar and windshield joint is not required.... check along the inside of your tub rails... there should be a grooved track with the nubby circular part on your new door surrounds glides along and catches on a notice in the track which retains it in position.

Like I said. You may very well have pre 92 hardware unfortunately.

I had to buy the windshield uprights when I got my rampage which are dirt cheap so no issue there. But my tub hardware was from 95. So i was good there. Below are the windshield up rights. I got mine fro. Rugged ridge for 23$ CAD.

And the tub rails with inner track. Both products imaged below are rampage. But you can get them from RR, Omix and a number of other manufacturers. Good news is they aren't that expensive

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

That's perfect. That actually makes sense. I remember seeing the track on a TJ I looked at a while back. I'm definitely missing both the door uprights and the tub track. I'll get those on order now. Thank you so much.

No problem.

I was fortunate enough to pick up two sets of tub rails ...both earlier models and later models when I bought a tonneau cover and windjammer off a craigslist ad. Guy tossed them in for nothing.

I originally tossed on the earlier or cheaper rails not even noticed the difference.

Thanks for the link on those bruinjeeper. The previous owner of my YJ removed all that stuff and my door surrounds are velcro strapped by the window and then screwed down with a tab at the door. I knew that it wasn't correct but haven't taken the time to look for the correct parts.
