Picked up a 4.0: now we play the waiting game

Ah the waiting game sucks. Who wantsnto play Hungry Hungry Hippo's?
I just picked up a 4.0 from a late 90's Cherokee. I've been seeing stuff for sale for a 4.0/ax15 swap pretty cheap lately so I thought I'd bite the bullet and start my project.
My 2.5 is running ok but I bought the jeep with 33's and the little engine just doesn't like them.
I plan on doing a little maintenance to the 4.0 but not much since the guy said it ran well when pulled with about 77,000 miles on it.
Lots of questions to come...

good find.

low mileage. Is it all original? and how cheap is cheap in your parts?

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

I found a listing for 4.0 wiring harness, fuel rails and injectors and various other parts for $50. 3 hours east of me is a 95 yj's ecm for $85. However they seem to have disappeared and no longer answer my messages.

So. the fun begins.....

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

Interesting how people have things to sell and then never want to get back to potential buyers.

**I was looking for a weight distribution hitch, found one for $150 this guy had posted on several FB pages and FB marketplace. I IM'd him and posted on three pages he never answered, so I moved on and bought a different one. Two days ago he reduces his price to $100 and says it "must go". **
