Nate,

Crongrats! I just purchased my first jeep a month ago. It is a 93. I was told that my color was teal blue. I am not sure if that is the color you have or not.

Good job on the new jeep. I have a bright blue 91 and my color is Canyon Blue metallic. Paint code is KCA. Look on your plate on the firewall it will have your paint code on it. BTW if it is canyon blue good luck finding it over the counter. I'm lucky enough to have a wife that works at a body shop so I had them mix me some up. According to the Jeep dealer the color has been discontinued and they have no more cans or touch up.

congrats!!!, heres my first jeep

i got my 93 4.0 about a month ago, this is my first jeep, and i'll never own another type of vehicle. If something happens to this one, i'll be gettin another one. LOL
It has a 4 inch body lift with 33 X 12.50 BFG At's. Someday I wanna drop it to a two inch body, and add a two inch suspension.
Sorry picture is a little blurry, it was taken with my cell.

Yeah, that's something you definately should do. That much BL puts way to much strain at the body mounts, and with our YJs gettin on up in years, you don't want the body to give way around those mounts. Then you'r right back on the frame where you started. Not good at all.

Edit: It is a good looking jeep, body seems to be real good. Mine is the same color, but I got a black hard top, and black steel rims.

He is talking about the 4 inch body lift, 1-2 is the max that most people should go. cause of the added strain on the body mounts. i personally am not a fan of body lifts and at most would do a 1 inch

They dont make a 4in body lift.....legal reasons. 3 is as big as it gets....unless he's using 4x4 wood blocks Nice looking tho!

I like to build stuff. Want to know what I build, you can google it

Hmm... in Canada I know that ProComp has a 4" Lift Kit :O)
But, 3" is still pretty high, especially if you go for an SOA too.

it is a three inch lift, sorry, i just measured it. i said four inch because the guy i bought it from said it was four. should have measured first.
i never put the lift on it, the previous owner did. If i did it, it would have been a suspension lift.
Oh well i don't get rough with my yj, i keep it clean, no mud on this frame
