Anywho, 2 weeks away as of today. Should be pulling in to Moab mid day Thrus' the 2nd.
I was angling for a new truck as well but the party pooper vetoed that plan. probably for the best I guess.

Funny how that happens. The wife and I were discussing retirement the other day and how we'd have no bills, and I said "well except the truck payment", she looks at me kinda baffled and says, "your truck is paid off"...."not the new one" I say..... yeah that didn't go over well.

Yup it’s an 09 light duty Hemi 2500. I had an 11 Cummins Crewcab decked out but the regen Dodge was using was giving me all kinds of problems. So my cost vs benefits analysis made it clear I should move on from it.

That was a fluke. We were waiting on the rig on tons and 40s that broke. If we hadn't waited it wouldn't have taken near as long.

Saw Artec post on Instagram that they ran it and were back in town for lunch.

I wish I could go. May is a no-go though. I gotta get the kids ready for their finals. I'm going to make them weld for their final.
That'll teach 'em to spend the last four months goofing off.

Couldn't swing new/bigger tires this year anyway. That might happen next year.

Sweet I need a new front bumper. Something like this will do nicely!

That's not very useful with nowhere to mount a fairlead.
