Moab 2019 trip, YJ style...

Hey all,
Got permission from one of the Mods, ok to post this up. Kinda like was done a season or 2 ago.

Some guys from our NorCal Jeepers group is planning another Moab trip this coming May. 2nd week of May technically. Approx., weekends of May 4-11.

Not a huge group this time around, so posting here to see if anyone else wants to plan around this time frame and to make it more the merrier.
I post this in the YJ section primarily b/c most of us here know each other. Not to diss the other forums. A lot of us in the NorCal group run YJ's (I used too). And some of the guys that came over in the past are YJ guys... but any one can come of course.

So that's purdy much it in a nut shell. Most of the guys just camp. So your own way of accommodation's is up to you. I may motel it... not sure yet.

Hope some of you can make it!

Sounds doable, depending on the Warden's work schedule.

How would a stock YJ fare?

There are plenty of trails in Moab to fit any Jeeps bill. Trails ratings from 2-9, take your pick. Scenery is awesome almost any trail you do.

I think our tentative dates were the 15th-18th. We always seem to be a week apart...

Hey, you can always come over for the weekend of the 4th. As I'm sure you know, it is only a couple hrs away for you.

Another bump...

Just a few more weeks away! Starting to warm up a bit now.

Anyone planning on trying to make it?

I got all excited when I read the title of the thread, I thought you got a YJ again. Thats faulty advertising if you ask me but as for the trip I most likely will be able to wander over and play for a few days.

@RockWoRM , my wife is going to see if she can fix her schedule so we can go for a few days. But we won't know until the last week in april. She already has a scheduled vacation the last week in may.... So maybe, we"ll let u know! Been there a half dozen times. We went last april for a few days and one day we ran fins & things with the Utah Bronco Club.... First time we ever ran a trail with someone. They were a good group of people!

Jim, I'll shoot you a PM with my cell number. If you make it while we're there hit me up, I don't get the greatest cell reception where we stay but some reason texts seem to come through ok.
