man this jeep is actually terrifying... i was looking it over from the beginning of the new mock-up.

I literally got frightened and slammed my laptop shut, needed a smoke.

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

In the spirit of the hijack, I haven’t looked recently but I’d suggest the idea of looking into a “12V cooler”. They are not too much more than a yeti but days of ice holding is irrelevant with them. I had an early one but it was stolen. It was awesome. The new ones are much more effective and use even less power. True refrigeration not thermal differential

I had to oval out the holes on the basket so it cleared the halo on the cage. 20qt coolers fit fine, but those canít hold enough trail beverages.
Was that the Ozark or Lifetime brand? IIRC they are both Yeti knock off's. I have the Lifetime. They are a great cheaper option to the Yeti. I got the medium size, 55qt., and put 2 blocks of ice and some crushed on top. Spent 6 days at KOH and then took a road trip to Utah for 5 days and still had ice when I got home. Granted it wasn't hot, but for under $100 ya can't beat it.

Jeep is looking super sweet, btw!!

Pulled the cage and took it home for final weld. Plan to take it to powder next week.

Also dropped a pile of parts off at powder.

Hope to get the interior sprayed with lizard skin and bedliner next week. Then Iím taking it home to prep for paint.
