How To Fill Out Your JeepForum Profile: An Illustrated Guide

More often than not, when a new member pops up onto the forums asking for help, the very first post in reply is requesting them to "Fill out their Forums Profile".

Most of us are forums black belts, but new members often need help in even figuring out how to fill out their profile. As such, here it is; How to Fill out Your JeepForum Profile.

From the forums you regularly frequent (in this case it's the YJ Technical Forum for me) locate your member information in the upper right corner.
If you are using the "Classic" forums layout like me it will look like this:

The Default JeepForum layout looks like this:

picture1-2.jpg

The next thing You will need to do is click on either the [USER CP] or [My Profile].

picture2-1.jpg

Clicking either [My Profile] in the Classic Theme or [Edit Your Jeep Information] in the Default theme will take you to the areas you can edit/add information about your Jeep.

Fill out all the information you know about your jeep, adding in any modifications, bolt-ons like bumpers and rims, etc.

BE SURE TO SAVE YOUR CHANGES TO YOUR PROFILE BEFORE EXITING THE EDITOR!!!

If you are unsure what your Jeep has (or had) from the factory, read this thread and use it to get a "Build Sheet" for your Jeep. Just be aware they are not 100% accurate.

Hope this helps!

Great post.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

This post should be the first and only post that's visible to a new member, then the second seen post should be the FAQ's.

I’m a stupid millennial. How do you do it from a phone? I’m not even sure if my laptop still works or where it is. Us millennials not only suck at life but we don’t use computers anymore lol.

The first step to being cured is admitting you have a problem. LOL.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.
