heater core reverse flush

HELLO ALL, I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL TOPICS ABOUT HEATER FLUSHING, REVERSE FLUSHING ETC , MY QUESTION IS HOW DO I DO THIS , OBVIOUSLY YOU REMOVE THE HEATER HOSES ,BUT HOW DO I TELL WHICH IS INLET AND OUTLET OR DOES IT MATTER , DO I USE WATER PRESSURE ,AIR PRESSURE OR BOTH,I HAVE A 93 YJ ,I6 ENGINE, THANKS VERY MUCH GUYS:thumbsup:

flushing is basically cleaning out the innards. Its normally done by forcing clean fluid in the reverse fashion through the radiator or even the heater core thus basically forcing out the garbage that collects inside of it from months years, generations of use.. ( depending on how old is your Pup).. auto stores sell chemicals for just this purpose, you place it inside the radiaotor allow he car to run then in a day or so dump it....

as you can see, everyone uses the old fashioned yet reliable method of flushing with a garden hose..

Its simple.. disconnect both hoses on top of your engine case. ya cant miss them they both lead to you your heater core... shove a garden hose in one end and then turn on the water. see what comes out.. wait a few minutes, then switch ends. and baddabinggg .. repeat as comfort dictates.

hey thanks guys, very much appreciated ,but im gonna have to wait abit ,we just got 12 inches of snow last night and another 7 or 8 is on its way here today,,,,,,,,,the kids are lovin it ,and i think i am as well cause im catchin up on some rum and eggnog,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,best of the season to you and yours ,,,,,,,,,,
