Teck question, anyone know if a AX5 tranny is interchangeable with Peugeot tranny? 1988 Wrangler YJ 4.2eng.

No. You would need the larger AX15, plus a new bell housing. And a few other trinkets, and there are plenty of guidance threads here on the forum. Many of us have made that conversion.

No and it'd be a step down anyway. The AX5 is still a better transmission than the Frenchie.

The 4th 5-seater YJ in the world.
