Day 1 - Today

Thought it would be pretty cool to have a thread that documents what your YJ looked like the day you got it and what it looks like today.

I just want one pic of each day; Day 1 and Today.

Stop whining about the 'ride' - If your YJ ain't wrangling your soul free, then might I suggest you buy a stationwagon... at least you can fit all your bull**** in the back.

Cool idea for a thread, Tim. I really like it... For now though. I cannot find the pics of the 94 coming home. It was two full truck and trailer loads to get it home. Now it is spread throughout 3 buildings and some of it resides outside. Some of it still resides on Quadratecs or similar vendors websites or shelves. To show what it looks like now would require a bigger production than the filming of any 8 part documentary series. I must include. 2 hour episodes. Hope this thread stays alive long enough for me to provide it in all one pic. LOL.

I will find this as inspiration though. A support group of sorts. Something that validates my crazy visions and sanity.

The 87 will be easier. Just not in a before and after state yet though.

Really cool idea though. Looking forward to all the pics.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

Good idea!
Day One:

Now, with the bikini currently on it. Also not shown, has a grey full soft top (OEM style) and Bushwhacker flares that exactly match wheel width.

Neat idea for a thread. It's fun to see that most of them so far were well used when found.

Not too much change in ours since brought home in September. It's not that purple. The color actually looks red to everything but a camera.

My 1995. Its been swapped from a basically stock 2.5 auto to a 5.7 Vortec/TH350/8.8 rearend. Needless to say its alot more enjoyable to drive now Ended up with all new suspension and drivetrain/axles rebuilt by me.

I originally bought it as a beater, but by some miracle, the previous owner did absolutely zero prep work before rattle canning it. A pressure washer and razor blade took nearly all that spray paint crap off.
