Bought my first jeep today

Hey y’all! Been wanting a Jeep for years and finally bought my wife one that I got such a good deal I couldn’t pass up. 1995 Sahara model with a carbureted 2.5l and a 5 speed manual! So stoked, although I think the missus is even more excited. It’s her dream ride. It needs some love, I think the main jet has some gunk in it that causes it to sputter if you get in the throttle. It’s only got 78k miles on it! One of the first things I’m going to do is rip out the carpet cause it’s got to go. Has anyone rhino lined the interior of their Jeep. If so what did y’all spend roughly? Planning on keeping it pretty stock as it’ll be a daily driver. Gonna give it a full tune up, oil change and hopefully just by driving it can blow out the carburetor and get the jet opened up. If not I’ll take it apart and clean it good. How easy are the stock carbs to work on?

My thoughts exactly. My '92, 2.5/5-speed is injected.
If it really is carb'ed, you might want to research just what engine you actually have.

everyone's focusing on the year and carb.. you stated it's a 2.5L, those aren't carb'd. if you have a mythical one I've never seen please post it up here

1987 YJ 4.2 / 1990 YJ 4.2 / 1995 YJ 4.0 / 2014 JKU / 2019 JLU
