Bestop sailcloth

Does anybody have a Bestop sailcloth top or any experience with one? It is most likely what I will end up buying but am curious if they are all that they are cracked up to be.

If you cannot fix it with a hammer then it has to be an electrical problem.

They are what the OEM uses if that tells you anything.
I wouldn't buy anything but a Sailcloth

Boojo, correct me if I'm wrong but I believe you mentioned having a few sewing machines around the house. if you desire to take on such a task as sewing a custom top my two go-to vendors are Sailrite and Seattle Fabrics. The latter has everything including zippers and the parts to make them into the length you need.

The only reason I thought of this is that I have a really nice full soft top that I don't use much but would like to put together a full top that slopes down from the sport roll bar like the trail cover I have.

I have the super top in sail cloth. Its awesome. 3 years old and abused and still looks new. Its also the quietest top of have ever had. Even at 80mph you dont have to scream to be heard though you did need to raise your voice some. When this one wears out I will get another
