4.0 from 2001 Cherokee into 87 YJ ?

I know there are many of you who have done this. What I’m looking for is information on what you all have found to help make this project go smoother.

What are the details ? You can easily swap an XJ engine block into your YJ, and use the YJ engine computer. Or are you asking about a complete swap including the 2000 XJ PCM and the wire harnesses ?

.

A recent Gallup public opinion poll shows the NRA, at 58% approval, has a higher approval rating than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

His YJ is a carbed 4.2.

Op the motor will bolt right up. Are you putting your carb system on it, swapping to a YJ fuel injected set up or putting the XJ obd2 set up in. This makes all the difference in the world. Also your BA10/5 probably isnt long for this world behind a 4.0 FI

1995 YJ. 2 inch BDS Spring lift. 1 inch shackle lift. 1.25 inch JKS Body Lift 33x12.5x15's. Engo 10,000 pound winch.
