1990 Jeep YJ Gauge Cluster Wiring Diagram

I was wondering if any of you had a wiring diagram for the gauge cluster on the 1990 Jeep YJ. I converted it over to a MC2150 and a HEI so I am going through the wiring harness and I must have cut one I was not supposed to. Luckily I am taking my time and checking everything inside every 5 wires I cut ( give or take).

The problem I am having is with the temp. gauge, volt meter, and gas gauge. Temp slowly builds up to max temp, but I have checked the hot side of the radiator with a laser thermometer and it is not getting to 260+ degrees, it is actually at +/- 210 degrees. Gas gauge just does read, it lifts slightly when I turn the key on, but does not read the actual fuel level. Volt meter reads at 8 volts, hand volt meter reads at 13.9V (engine on). This may just be a coincidence, but the temp and volt gauges seem to tick in time with the second hand on my clock. The fact that they all went off the rails at once leads me to believe that they might have a common wire, maybe a ground? If not then 3 of the 4 wires I have cut since the last test, I should not have.

Any help or diagrams would be greatly appreciated. While this is my first post on the forums it is far from the first I have read; I have gotten a lot of good info from hear. Thanks

Send me an email address through PM and I will link you to the manual. Your issue is related to the cluster. Its very very common to have ribbon issues. You probably just need to clean the contacts.

I believe both power and ground is common on them. If I am not mistaken they are fed power through the LPS fuse.
