2020 Jeep Gladiator 3.6L Coolant experiment

As many of you know the Jeep Wranglers with the 3.6 have heavy coolant contaminates from the factory that clog the coolant system IE the radiator and heater core. Mishimoto came out with a coolant filter for those models up to 2018(as of this writing). Got me one of the fancy overpriced Gladiators with the same engine so I decided to retrofit that kit to the newer set up to test/avoid those problems.

I have put 6,500 miles (10,460 KM) with that coolant kit installed and cut the filter open hoping to find all the nasties(will add pics). To my bewilderment I didnt find any. My guess is they are cleaning the block sand out better with the 2019 and up Jeeps. Anyway I will keep the coolant filter installed and put more miles on it and recut(probably at least 10,000 to 20,000 miles this time).

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Some people have been having the same problem with their 2008-2012 KK Liberty's. Maybe it's Jeeps in general from that era.
