Wife wanted rear view camera on her 99

So I bought an inexpensive model with tons of good reviews from Amazon. The brand is leekoolou and it's got a 7" screen that sits on the dash and the camera is mounted at the top of the hatch, inside. It was made to go on the license plate but I didn't like it there. The monitor plugs into the power switch but you can wire it to the fuse box, if you really want to because it came with both set ups.

Anyways, it came out awesome and the picture is great.

Dam bro, I could hook an Xbox to that screen and play while my woman is driving!!

Seems like that would create a blind spot. They have em to where they're in your rearview mirror. Just kind of small though.

Not sure how one can get a ticket for a crack in their windshield but they sell these "desk top monitor sized screens" for your dash board and thats not a problem?
Hope she doesn't take out any pedestrians when turning right at an intersection.

All of that - but my 1st thought was "what a wonderful advert for the light-fingered brigade that there's something in this one worth breaking into for"

Oh and that too. Guess it's time for the cobra alarm system. And while your at it might as well do the keyless entry and remote start to. HAHA Good luck bud

Oh and thanx for posting, I like the camera in the back window. Probably last a heck of a lot longer there too.

the screen shakes to much, we have found out since its had some time. the mount is a less than great design so it shakes and flops around a little. i have another one to put in, it replaces the rear view mirror with one with a picture in it so we shall see how that one goes.

since i did a review on amazon for this one, the company sent me a front mount camera to go with it. its wireless also but its a bummer since the new one i got for the wife is not wireless and doesn't have the antenna to receive signal. oh well, this one will find something fun to go into someday

Nice.

Are the parking guide lines fixed or adjustable?

I want to do a camera and display it through a double DIN head unit but I would like the lines to actually guide me because I haven't quite developed a feel for where the rear bumper is yet.
