Just installed a flowmaster original 40, 3" inlet and dual 2.5 outlets. I still need to weld on dumps above the rear axle but so far it sounds awesome. You can feel the rumble and it has a great sounding edgy growl to it when you hit higher rpm. Il try to get a video of it up this weekend.

flowmaster 40, no cat. ends before the rear axle. sounds good but is pretty loud in the cab with no carpet. gotta crank the radio up to hear it.

Had a glasspack and didnt like the sound it put out. it was high pitched and not as deep and throaty as the flowmaster.

I have a flowmaster, it has a nice deep throaty sound and not too loud, sounds awesome at around 1300rpm.

people who like a little grumble at idle and no drone on the highway tend to go with dynomax I believe.

my jeep has the confused prerunner syndrome....4.5" in the rear and 2" in the front.

Running a APN header with 2.5 inch pipe to a cherry-bomb turbo muffler and out the tailpipe..
sounds like a tractor idling and low speeds...mash the gas and sounds like a big ol v-8...but its loud..I enjoy it and it turns the heads

My exhaust upgrade is a rattly cat! Too broke to replace right now but want to switch it out with something cool.

If you get the exhaust routed out the back of the vehicle, it will quiet the inside down quite a bit.

Ive got the loudmaster UPS truck series muffler, and it sounds AWFUL. It sounds SO MUCH like the UPS truck, that the dog starts barking every time he hears me pull up. Highway? Forget it. I get a sore throat from screaming to my passengers, and they seldom ride in it twice. Dudes think it sounds cool, chicks absolutely despise it. My current chick has refused to ride in it until I "fix that loud thing, it's embarrassing and I cant hear myself think!"

Next time, DYNOMAX. My buddy has one, and it sounds smooth, nice rumble, and it sounds like a responsible adult owns the Jeep until you mash the skinny pedal.....then it sounds like tuned performance exhaust should: Loud enough to to be noticed, but not so loud that you set off car alarms and drown out your own stereo.
