surco roof rack question

thinking of getting rid of my thule M.O.A.B. rack and getting a lower profile/bigger roof rack.

-just wondering if i bought one threw summitracing.com or another site, do i need to buy mounts and stuff for them, and if anyone has pictures of how they mount it would be awesome.

my thule mounted right to the stock slide rails on my roof and the stock load rails were taken off since they were broken.

I don't know what hardware they come with, since mine had it when I bought it. I can snap a pic of the mount if you are needing it. Anything in particular you want to see?

The surco will mount to your stock cross bars, Gutter mount would be a better mount, and I believe they are part # J100

you do need to purchase the gutter rail brackets. ill let someone that knows chime in though on what model and anything else.
if you do a search for it you should be able to find it pretty quick.

i guess i just want to see how the mount to the factory rack instead of the gutter mount, though the gutter mount can"soport" more weight i believe.

No problem. Can't answer the load bar question because mine was on the Jeep when I bought it.

GM100 is the gutter mount. Hence the GM. J100 are for the factory roof rack.

Only if you want some accessories. Such as: tire carrier, light mounts, shovel/axe mount, hi lift mount.

Most, if not all, would be easy to fab yourself.
