LOL. It doesn't take long, and the rewards are worth it.

Ill get it done if not before this weekend. I sometimes find my self with a little extra time at work or no time at all like yesterday. Seems forward enough, use throttle body cleaner and gently remove the carbon buildup.cant take more than 30 minutes tops.

If you build it they will come

So I finally did it today, took out that piston and cleaned it up. Looked kinda new still but it may be good paint on it. Took the hose off and cleaned the inside of the Throttle Body some, theres a ton of gunk inside my manifold. Used throttle body/carb cleaner. He sputtered to life but none the less. Idle is still rough but after a couple starts its more responsive. The original issue happened to me again today, driving along, dead, keep rolling and tap the throttle, keep driving. That was before I cleaned it off though. I hope this solves a couple things but once I get my rough start and idle fixed I can begin the real work like rebuilding suspension and engine mods. (nothing too serious, I dont play that game on this motor)

If you build it they will come

Ok so cleaning that IAC definitely helped my idle but it didnt stop the engine stalling. Happened twice today. Maybe that new CPS is junk?

If you build it they will come

Costco had a set of 3 of these for $9.99. Not this exact one, but they're great!!
