Question About Torquing Tie Rods

I’m in the process of changing all four tie rods as well as the drag link, tie rod/adjusting sleeve, and the steering damper on my 96 Cherokee. I have the Jeep jacked up on stands at the frame rails with the suspension hanging, making it much easier to get to everything.

My question is: Can I torque all the tie rods and other parts with no weight on the suspension? I’ve searched and couldn’t find an answer. It seems like it would be fine and the service manuals don’t mention that it has to have weight on it, but I don’t want anything to bind up once I set it back down on the wheels. Also, I’m not sure I can get to the outer tie rods once the wheels are on.

tre are tapered and fit tight into tapered holes. they go only one way. no worry.
they are tight but can be wiggled.

Thanks! It Seems like it will be easier to get to everything to torque it with no weight on the suspension.

Put jack stands under the axle tube. Weight on front end with out being on the wheels. Not that it matters in the case of the steering. If you were going control arm bushings and whatnot I'd be more worried about it.
