Old Mirrors on Newer Cherokee

I would like to take the older style (96 and previous) side view mirrors and door handles and put them on a 97 and up cherokee. Is that possible? I would try it out but I don't have the 97+ cherokee yet.

The mirrors will bolt up.The door handles i am unsure of tho....

thanks, How about the doors... I was thinking it may be easier to just swap the front doors if they'll fit.
