Locker for 8.25

I am looking for locker to my rear axle (Chr 8.25). I have previously used East Coast gear.

They offer me $650 For a Detroit truetrac
$325 For a factory Trak lok

They also have others:

Advice please.,

What is the intended use for the locker?
Offroad wheeling or winter traction?

That is the same reason I want a locker in my 8.25 and from all my research I will be going with the Detroit Truetrac, they are supposed to have the best handling for snowy conditions and they also don't do to bad on mild to medium off road.

I don't know anything about the others but have had a Detroit truetrac in one of my previous jeeps and loved it.

I use the Powertrax Grip Pro, better built, Lower Price, than truetrack.

I get mine from LVDriveline for a good price.

Both are rather difficult to get right now - another Covid-related supply chain issue.

Price differential is minimal - $10.00 or so.

Both are good units - might boil down to which one is available if you want something sooner rather than later.
