How to find what rear locker

I received the build sheet for my sons 96, i believe country addition, and all it says is an 8.25 corporate rear axle. but it is definatley locked or limited slip because both rear wheels spin the same direction, with out taking the rear cover off, is there anyway to tell if someone installed a locker, or it is a factory lim-slip.
And in what xj did a limited slip come in. Or how to find out.
Would any kind of after market locker click when making sharp turns

Somebody could have welded it. Believe people used to refer to it as a Lincoln Locker. Guessing cause of Lincoln Welders.
So I have been told but never confirmed that you can see enough through the fill plug to tell.
Factory LSD carrier on top and an open carrier below.
If it is an aftermarket one thinking if you can see the through the fill whole it will jump right out at you.

The optional factory installed Limited Slip would be listed on your Build Sheet available from Chrysler/Jeep. Or, you can take the cover off and look inside. Some locker click in turns and some don't.

Probably, need to change. the only thing it says on the build sheet id with the power train
All 4-Speed Automatic Transmissions

DGSS 4-Speed Automatic
AW4 Transmission DHAS

Lock-Up Torque Converter DHNS

Command-Trac Part Time 4WD System

DHSS Floor Mount Automatic Shift Lever DJHS
Dana M30/181MM Front Axle DMDS

3.55 Rear Axle Ratio

DRAS Corporate 8.25 Rear Axle EAAC

All Engines

ERH 4.0L I6 Power Tech Engine
And there is no tag on the rear cover, so someone had the bolts out.
