Can't find replacement PCV valve

My PCV valve (outflow) is cracked and I can't find a replacement anywhere. I have a '92 XJ, 4.0L , anyone know of a suitable replacement?

You don't have a PCV valve. It's just an open elbow and teamcherokee.com has them along with the grommits and lines. The XJ uses a ccv system, Taking in clean air from the airbox in the front, and putting unburned elements back through the intake on the rear side. If your rear line becomes clogged it will cause oil to be pushed into the air filter.

the 4.0 has a CCV system, not PCV...meaning there isn't a checkvalve or anything its just an open tube. i'd look at the junkyards....it may be on the rack with the pcv valves at the autoparts store as a breather tube

that would explain it. I didn't know there was a difference between PCV and CCV. Thanks.

Yeah, the autoparts have them, but I couldn't find one that was the correct size, so I went to the dealer and bought all of it new( grommits, elbows, and lines). Wasn't terribly expensive, but teamcherokee has it all cheaper. I never find the deals till after I buy something.
