Any tips second use of day misfire. XJ '89 4 litre

Hi, Any tips for motor runs fine but if you turn motor off and restart for second journey the motor misfires every time.
Motor has to get completely cold overnight for it to run fine, then again second use misfiring bad down to 4 cylinders. The motor does not overheat runs as cool as a cucumber. Has lots of power.

If you let it idle for a few minutes does it clear up and run fine? Sounds very similar to a common heat soak issue.

Go to www.cruiser54.com and complete tips 1,3,4, and 5.

Plugs, wires, cap and rotor should all be replaced every 30,000 miles.

Make sure your intake manifold bolts haven't loosened up.

how do plugs look - Wet Black dry tan? might be a clue.

A leaking injector or FPR - lowering fuel pressure and fouling plugs is my SWAG

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.
