'93 Cherokee Country Mystery No-Crank

Hello all, my '93 Cherokee Country has suddenly stopped trying to crank. When I turned the key all I got was silence, no crank, clicking, or buzzing. I had the battery checked at auto zone and they told me that the battery was good and still had a full charge. I then put the battery back in and cranked it up again just to see what would happen and it turned over fine. The only thing is when I cranked it up after reinstalling the battery, it cranked really quickly when before it would take half a second or a second of trying before it would turn over. I am really happy that its starting up now but I would like to know what could have caused the issue and how I can make sure that it cranks up reliably in the future. I have already replaced the starter recently and the battery is practically brand new, if anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.

Sounds like you just need to clean and tighten your battery cable terminals.

One of the battery cable connections may have just been loose and when you reinstalled the battery, you tightened it up better.
