Hi, and thanks for the help.
I installed this 4.0 non HO (it came with an AT) 18years ago in my YJ with broken 2.5l.
From the beginning i had a problem, idle is 800-1300+ 1/min, but not constant...
There are no vacuum leaks,no problems with throttlelinkage. I changed and tested TPS and IAC without success.
One thing is that the injection computer needs a speedsignal,or better no speed signal ,this pin i mounted to vehicle ground , but nothing changed.
The other thing could be that it needs the information about the AT neutral position (i have a AX15) but i can't find this in the wireing diagram...
Last thing that rises rpm is an AC request (AC is out of order and works as an onboardair compressor).
So thats my problem but it's not a big problem so from time to time i try to solve it...now it's time again...

Marcel.

The Renix ECU doesn't care what gear the vehicle is in.

Have you been to my website and adjusted the TPS properly?

checked the sensor ground circuit per Tip 5?

Hi,
checked sensor ground, it was okay. TPS was not properly adjusted, but i think it was as it was installed new. Had no time for a testdrive, maybe weekend...
EGR valve is completely blocked.
Thanks !
