89 renix HP steering hose replacement tips

So the high pressure hose on my power steering sprung a leak, any tips/ write ups for replacement - it looks tight down there and what fluid is recommended.
Thanks for any info.

Remove the electric fan assembly for much more working room.

That's fine, but you'll only find Dex/merc III any more. Same as used in your automatic trans.

Thanks, not the easiest of jobs but back on the road now, had to cut the pipe and worked a 18mm spanner from the chassis side to loosen it up, removing the fan definitely helped. not easy to get back in one hand holding the lower rad hose and the other getting the pipe in.
Thanks for your help.
