Very Occasional (Big) Boat Ramp Use?
Doing my research as I dream a bit.
There may be a time shortly where I want a used jeep for light everyday use on an island. But if I can swing it, Id like to also have a 25 Center Console on a double axle trailer on the island. I would keep the boat mostly in the water, but maybe six times a year haul it up and down a not terribly steep but wet ramp, so as to not have to schedule and pay for the marina to do it for me.
My initial search of the interwebs says not-a-four cylinder with an automatic transmission, 4low, and biggest tires with lowered air pressure I can put on a stock suspension might do this? Friends Kubota RTV in tandem or a winch to help? Thoughts?
