Eco mode

Towing Ranger Bass Boat with 2017 GC with HEMI. Should ECO be ON or OFF to tow??

Manual doesn't say anything w/regards to Towing and ECO mode?

You may have better luck in the 2017 GC section...that's a pretty model specific question.

I'm not 100% sure what ECO does, but my guess is one of the things would be to shift earlier to keep RPM down. If this is the case, then I would say leave it off while towing. In fact, if you have a TOW mode, I would use that. My '12 F150 Ecoboost is tuned and holds gears a bit longer than stock, but it still feels like it shifts too soon pulling my dad's 19.5' Dynatrac bass boat. Tow/Haul mode feels much better.

I read on another website that someone else with a GC always tows with sport mode on (eco off). Tightens up suspension and provides power quicker. Its probably safer as it provides better control? Just my guess
