Commander Overview
Introduced in 2006, the Commander is one of the latest models to join the Jeep name. Based off of the latest model Grand Cherokee, It seats 7 passangers instead of 5 and only falls 2" longer. The biggest difference is the boxy styling. Rather than curved style front fenders, it features a more prominant flat front windsheild and Headlights.
Engines
3.7L PowerTech V6
4.7L PowerTech V8 with 235 hp and 295 ft lbs of torque. The 2008 and up 4.7L produces 305 hp and 334 ft lbs of torque.
5.7L Hemi V8
3.0L CRD V6 Turbo Diesel (XH Europe version)

W5A580 5 speed auto W/overdrive found behind the 3.7L V6 engine.
545RFE 5 speed auto multi-speed found behind the 4.7L V8 and 5.7L V8 engines.
