I have a question about the grand cherokee with the dual climate control. Does anyone know why the heat on the drivers side would work but not on the passenger side? Is this an easy fix that I can do myself and if not how much damage to the wallet am I looking at?

This is a very common issue with the Limiteds/Overland version WJ's. The problem your experiencing is the blend door failure. It is approximately $1200 job at the dealer, or $200 in parts and 8+ hrs of your time.

This may be the subject of a future class action suit . Don't hold your breath.
