Protoypes
The frst prototypes for the M-67X vehicles were made in 1962 for use by the US military. In 1964 two of these protoypes were built by the contract between Jeep and the Navy/USMC. These two models were the M-676 and the M-678.

M-676
A Civilian Model of FC-170 with some minor modifications.

A Four door crew cab pickup with short bed due to 103" wheelbase.

A Forward Control with a van body and three cabin doors, two rear door and removable seating for seven.

A Forward Control with an ambulance body; essentially a M-678 with no windows and two front doors.
