The CJ-6 is the longer version of the CJ-5. The extra length is found between the front seats and the rear wheels in the form of 20 extra inches of sheet metal and frame. Whatever changed or was optioned on the CJ-5, so did for the CJ-6 for that given year. Tuxedo Park Mark IV (CJ-6A) was an option, probably the lowest production Jeep Universal Model there is. There were no Renegade CJ-6s

As with the CJ-5, the wheelbase was lengthened 3 inches from 101 to 104 inches in 1972 to accommodate the longer AMC engines. Due to the extra cargo room, many a CJ-6 was converted into a specialty Jeep such as for fire and rescue or special service needs. From 1976 to 1981, the CJ-6 was for export only.
